Spiritual Accompaniment

A space to pause, listen, and attend to what is unfolding.

A companion for the journey

Life is not a straight path. There are seasons of transition, questions that linger, and moments when we long for space to pause, listen, and discern what is taking form in our lives.

Spiritual accompaniment offers a place to bring these questions as they are. Together, we make room to attend to what is unfolding, explore questions of meaning and faith, and discern what might be next.

You don't need to arrive with answers or know exactly what you're looking for.

Sometimes what we need is not a quick answer, but someone to walk with us for a while.

Rooted in pilgrimage, hospitality, and attentive presence.

My approach to accompaniment has been shaped by walking pilgrimage routes around the world, living in pilgrimage communities, and accompanying people through the questions and transitions of their lives. My experience in chaplaincy, pastoral care, and communities of faith also informs how I listen and accompany others.

I draw on the wisdom of my own Christian tradition while remaining attentive to the many ways people encounter questions of faith, meaning, belonging, and the sacred. Whether or not you've ever walked a pilgrimage, I offer a space grounded in curiosity, compassion, and hospitality—a place to be fully yourself, listen deeply, and attend to what is stirring.

You might be seeking accompaniment as you…

  • Prepare for a pilgrimage — making space to reflect on your hopes, questions, and intentions before setting out.

  • Integrate a pilgrimage into daily life — reflecting on an experience that has stayed with you and exploring how its insights might continue to shape you.

  • Navigate a season of change — finding space to reflect amid uncertainty, transition, or a new beginning.

  • Discern a next step — exploring questions of vocation, direction, or what feels meaningful in this season of life.

  • Explore questions of faith and belonging — making space for questions, doubts, changing beliefs, or your relationship with the sacred.

  • Tend to your own spiritual life — especially when you spend much of your time caring for others.
